Casa Mara sits in the heart of Brodick village, a few hundred metres from the glittering shorefront, and a path from the back of its garden leads down to the seafront. This five star dog friendly house sleeps twelve across six bedrooms, and its one dog has a tiered enclosed garden, made for children and a dog to play in.
Inside, this is a decadent house, finished with the finest furnishings, decor and upholstery, refined and still completely homely. Shoes and coats come off in the utility room, which opens straight onto the garden for the dog. Children make for the games room off the hallway, while the grown ups gather in the large kitchen around the breakfast table as pans bubble. A separate dining room next door lends occasion to dinner, and the lounge has comfortable sofas, a TV and an electric fire of the wood burner effect kind for a film together.
