Three dogs are welcome at Coastguard Cottage, and the Tarka Trail is reached straight from its garden. That makes it a dog friendly cottage where the first walk of the morning starts at the back of the house, on the coast road to Woolacombe Bay with the beach a couple of miles away.
Inside, the attractive and stylish ground floor is one spacious lounge, kitchen and diner, and the lounge's bi-fold doors fold back to the garden, keeping the dogs in the thick of things. Next to the front door are a utility room and a wet room, shower and WC together, ideal for the days when everyone comes straight off the beach.
