The water off Weybourne is deep right up to the shingle, which is why an old rhyme says whoever would take England must begin here, and why the village has a museum of tanks in it. Heath View is 0.2 miles from that shingle, dog friendly, eight people on one floor, three dogs allowed, the garden behind enclosed and a second, open courtyard at the side.

It was a bungalow until 2023 and is now one long bright room, kitchen, an island with the dining table built onto it, seating for eight, and sliding doors opening one whole side to the fields. Four bedrooms come off it, three of them king size and one twin, three with their own shower rooms and a family bathroom for the fourth, two of them opening by patio doors onto the courtyard. A utility takes the washing and whatever three dogs bring back from the shingle.

The enclosed garden is the one behind, decked, with furniture and a charcoal barbecue, where three dogs go without anybody following. The courtyard at the side is for a cup of tea out of a bedroom door and is not fenced, which is worth knowing before the first morning.

The beach is a steep bank of shingle with the sea dropping away fast beyond it, with the coast path on top of it going west over the marsh and east up onto the cliffs. Behind the village the ground rises into heath and woodland with the steam line running through it. Three dogs get shingle, cliff and heath from one door, and the museum of tanks for the afternoon nobody wants the beach.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Heath View - Weybourne dog friendly?

Yes, Heath View welcomes up to three dogs. There's an enclosed decked garden at the back where dogs can roam freely, and a utility room designed to handle whatever they bring back from the beach — which, given the shingle is only 0.2 miles away, will likely be put to good use.

  • Are dogs allowed at Heath View - Weybourne year round?

The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions on dogs, so it's worth contacting the property directly to confirm availability for your dates. What is clear is that three dogs are welcome, and the location offers great walking in any season — shingle beach, coastal path, heath and woodland all within easy reach.

  • What should I know before visiting Heath View - Weybourne with my dog?

The enclosed garden at the back is where dogs can be left to their own devices safely, but the courtyard to the side of the house is unfenced — something to be aware of before you open a bedroom patio door on the first morning. The beach itself is a steep shingle bank with the sea dropping away sharply, so it's worth keeping that in mind if your dogs are keen swimmers.
