Chapel St. Leonards, Lincolnshire
A newly renovated bungalow for seven at Chapel St Leonards, with four bedrooms, two lounges, a second kitchen, an immaculate enclosed garden and one dog welcome.
Chapel St Leonards has beaches with a laid back feel, and Hideaway is a wonderfully presented bungalow from which to enjoy them. Newly renovated in 2020, it sleeps seven. One dog is welcome too, and the bungalow makes a relaxed, dog friendly place for family and friends to explore the Lincolnshire coast and country.
A side door opens into the hallway, which leads off to the living areas and bedrooms. The spacious lounge has a very modern feel, with a large settee, two easy chairs and a Smart TV, and the dining table seats six with more chairs to hand. The kitchen diner has a range cooker and a dishwasher. Three doubles and a single make up the four bedrooms, with two bathrooms between them, one a shower room. Towards the back of the house a second lounge has another Smart TV and its own kitchen facilities, an electric hob and a fridge with an ice compartment for the cocktails, and its bifold and French doors lead out to the garden. Wherever the family gathers, the dog will settle in quickly.
The immaculate garden is enclosed, laid to patio and lawn, with a table and chairs for seven, so supper can be eaten outdoors in the sea breeze. The dog can explore the lawn while the table is laid.
The beaches here are quieter than the traditional resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, both a short drive away for Natureland Seal Sanctuary or Fantasy Island. Gibraltar Point and the beaches at Anderby Creek are a short drive for walks with the dog, the Embassy Theatre and music evenings at a local pub fill the nights, and the Lincolnshire Wolds are within easy reach.

Book with holidaycottages.co.ukFrequently Asked Questions
Is Hideaway dog friendly?
Yes, Hideaway welcomes one dog on the booking. The bungalow is well set up for it too — the back room has glazed doors opening directly into the enclosed garden, giving your dog a route in and out without passing through the main living spaces or kitchen.
Are dogs allowed at Hideaway year round?
The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions on dogs, but we'd recommend checking directly with the property when you book to confirm availability for your dates.
What should I know before visiting Hideaway with my dog?
The booking allows one dog, so if you're travelling with more than one it's worth checking with the property in advance. The setup genuinely suits dogs well — a second kitchen keeps wet, muddy animals away from the main cooking space, and the enclosed garden means they have somewhere secure to be outside. The beach at Chapel St. Leonards is half a mile away, with a broad stretch of sand and quieter open shoreline to the north if you're after a longer run.
