Robin's Barn is a luxurious converted barn for two at Haytons Bent, set deep in the Shropshire countryside with views across the Shropshire Hills. It is a dog friendly retreat where two dogs are welcome, and walks begin at the front door, along winding lanes through historic hamlets and on into the rolling hills.
Within the large garden is a fully enclosed area for the dogs to run in, and there is an outdoor hose for washing them down when they come back from the lanes. The patio has garden furniture, a parasol and a charcoal BBQ, all set to take in the uninterrupted countryside views, and supper can carry on under the stars while the dogs doze at your feet.
Inside, the open plan living area is stylish and spacious and furnished to a high standard, with underfloor heating throughout, which the dogs approve of within minutes of arriving. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher and a Nespresso Vertuo machine, ready for whatever comes home from the Ludlow Farm shop. The super king size bedroom has luxurious linen, and the en suite has a lovely large shower to start the day.
There is also a private woodland walk on the estate of approximately 4km, which takes the dogs away from the lanes. Ludlow is 4.4 miles away, a medieval market town with an 11th century castle, a popular market in the square and a name for good food. Bridgnorth, divided by the River Severn, adds riverside walks and a steam railway for another day.
