Saltway House is a five minute walk from the centre of Whitstable and a short walk from its gently shelving beach, and it is a warm, dog friendly family home for seven with two dogs welcome. Shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within walking distance, so two dogs can be walked to almost everything.

Shoes and coats are dropped in the hallway. Two stylish settees and an armchair furnish the cosy lounge, which has one of the house's two wood burners and a TV. Family suppers happen round a six seat table in the open plan kitchen diner, where the bespoke, handmade units include a breakfast bar with two stools for the morning coffee. The bathroom is downstairs. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, and above them a large triple bedroom with a cosy play area for the children. By evening the dogs will be stretched out by the fire in the lounge.

Step out of the kitchen door and the garden, fully enclosed, offers a large lawn plus a patio with seating for six and a charcoal BBQ. The dogs have the lawn to explore while the BBQ is lit, and long family suppers out here are the reward after a day on the beach.
