Seascape is located directly on the beach at Pevensey Bay, and its enclosed garden ends in a gate that opens onto the dog friendly beach. One dog and four guests are welcome at this dog friendly cottage, with spectacular views across the sea from the garden and the lounge alike.
The welcoming entrance hall leads into a spacious open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen is contemporary and fresh, with stylish lighting and a round table that seats four, and from the comfortable sofas in the lounge you look out to sea through large sliding windows. That is where the dog will settle once the walking is done, keeping watch on the water.
Patio doors open from the lounge onto a paved area with a garden table and chairs, a lovely place to sit looking over the sea, and there is a lawn beyond it. The garden is enclosed and ideal for dogs, and with the gate at the far end, the first walk of the day starts a few steps from the breakfast table. The king size room looks out to sea through its window, the second bedroom has twin beds, and the two share a fresh, light bathroom. For a larger party, Seascape can be booked together with Pebble Beach to sleep eight.
Pevensey's castle is close by for exploring, and Sovereign Harbour, once known as The Crumbles, has a marina, a cinema and plenty of places to eat. The coastal towns of Hastings and Eastbourne are both within easy reach, Battle and its independent shops and cafes are a short drive away, and the beach outside the gate means the dog never waits long for its next walk.
