Two dogs come with you to this dog friendly barn for four, and the large private garden has very recently been properly enclosed to be dog proof.
A dedicated seating area there comes with a parasol and charcoal BBQ, and an outdoor hose for dog washing takes the mud off after a morning on the estate tracks. On the estate itself there are numerous tracks and bridle paths, along with access to a private woodland walk of approximately 4km.
Inside, the very well equipped kitchen connects to a cosy lounge with an electric fire and a Smart TV, where double doors lead out to the terrace and the distant view of Clee Hill. The dogs share the ground floor with you: please note dogs are not permitted upstairs. Down here a comfortable double, en suite with a shower, opens directly onto the garden, while on the first floor the master's super king zip and link can become twin beds if requested when booking, and its bathroom adjoins.
The beautiful hilly countryside around is often called mini Switzerland, and takes in the protected landscape of the Shropshire Hills, all quiet lanes and forest for walking a dog. The castles at Ludlow and Stokesay are there to explore, the Ludlow Farmshop is a must for a picnic, and there are many National Trust houses and gardens within reach.
