The Ludlow Townhouse is a beautiful 16th century, Grade II listed house in the heart of Ludlow, restored and furnished to the highest standard with wonderfully chosen art and antiques. Twelve guests and two dogs have this dog friendly townhouse between them, and, a real highlight given its town centre position, there is a large enclosed garden to the rear with a wood fired hot tub.
The spacious entrance leads into rooms full of original features and charm. The first living area has beautiful sofas and chairs, a Smart TV and a feature open fireplace, and the two dogs claim the warmth in front of it before the evening is out. The kitchen has a Rangemaster cooker for making the most of the produce from the market in the main square, the panelled dining room comfortably seats all twelve for a celebratory meal, and a boot room takes the muddy boots.
A second lounge holds a Victorian era billiards table in mint condition, with its own open fireplace for drinks with friends. Three bedrooms are en suite. Outside, the enclosed garden has beautiful furniture for dining alfresco, an all weather table tennis table, room for garden games and the wood fired hot tub, and two dogs spend a contented afternoon out there while a glass of wine is poured.
Ludlow is rich in history, with its medieval castle and an unsurpassed array of historic buildings, and it is famed for its markets, festivals, delis and restaurants.
