Book now

Yr Hen Beudy was beautifully converted from a former cowshed, and it is now a stylish, dog friendly barn for six people and one dog in the peaceful hamlet of Upper Nash, just outside Lamphey. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes the outskirts of the village, and the golden sandy beaches of this coast are close at hand.

The garden is tiered. Nearest the barn is a courtyard with a newly added hot tub, seating and a BBQ, ideal for plotting tomorrow's adventures. A little further on lies the enclosed lawned area, with another seating area and outstanding views across the hills, and the dog will happily claim it while the evening drinks come out. Guests also have shared use of the owners' one acre paddock, plus secure cycle storage.

Creative furnishing and interesting features run through the renovated barn, and oil underfloor heating throughout is something the dog discovers very quickly. Lounge, kitchen and dining area meet in one spacious room, bright and airy, with a Smart TV and a stylish kitchen ready for whatever local produce you bring back. Of the three bedrooms, the king size is en suite, the zip and link twin converts to a super king if you ask, and the third is a double. A bath and a separate shower share the spacious main bathroom.

Pembroke is 2 miles away, and Manorbier, with its ancient castle and sandy beach, is 3 miles off. Tenby has its coastal golf course and beaches, and the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coast Path gives the dog as much walking as anybody could ask for.
