Cefn Sidan is a vast, eight-mile sandy beach on Carmarthen Bay within Pembrey Country Park, one of the longest unbroken beaches in Wales. The beach is backed by an exceptional dune system and pinewood forest, and the country park offers horse riding, dry ski slope, toboggan run, cycle hire and a full range of outdoor activities. The beach faces south-west and catches the Atlantic swell well, making it popular with surfers.

Dogs are welcome at Cefn Sidan/Pembrey Country Park but must be kept on leads in some country park areas. The beach itself is large enough to offer excellent off-lead space. No seasonal PSPO restrictions are confirmed for this beach. Year-round access.
