Uisken Beach
Argyll and Bute
Uisken Beach is a beautiful, quiet sandy bay on the south coast of Mull, south of Bunessan, with small islands in the bay providing shelter and a characteristic calm that makes it a prime spot for paddling and kayaking. The beach can be driven almost directly to, with a small parking area above the sand, and the surrounding coastline is excellent for exploring on foot. The views south and west from the beach extend to Colonsay and the Paps of Jura. Seals frequently rest on the offshore skerries.
No dog restrictions apply at Uisken Beach. Year-round dog access. The beach is small, quiet and well suited to dogs who enjoy rock-pool exploration and paddling in calm, sheltered water. The farm track to the beach makes for easy access. Local dogs have been known to keep their owners company on extended beach explorations of the surrounding coastline.
