Camp Snowdonia (Tan Aeldroch Farm)

Conwy

Dog Friendly Rating:7/10A quiet, rustic and dog friendly working sheep farm campsite in the Conwy Valley, with riverside walks on the doorstep and dogs required on-lead because of livestock.

Camp Snowdonia, on Tan Aeldroch Farm near Betws-y-Coed, offers a quieter and more rustic dog friendly camping experience. Set on a working sheep farm in the Conwy Valley, the site has a laid-back atmosphere and incredible views across the surrounding hills. It is a peaceful escape for owners and dogs who want to reconnect with nature and enjoy a slower pace, falling asleep to the sound of the river and waking up to birdsong and mountain mist.

Dogs are welcome and are respectfully asked to be kept on-lead at all times, as it is a working livestock farm. Riverside walks are right on the doorstep, and forest trails are just a short drive away. For dogs that are happy to stay on-lead on site, the combination of a working farm setting, scenic valley views and easy access to classic Snowdonia walking makes this a rewarding and characterful base.
