1 / 8IXORA Hotel & Spa
Conwy
Yes. Dogs can stay in 34 dog friendly rooms.
A four star spa hotel at Dolgarrog on the edge of Eryri, with 34 rooms for dogs, mostly on the first floor, and dinner together in the bar.
Zephyr's Bar and Grill looks out over panoramic views of the Conwy Valley, and IXORA Hotel & Spa sits at the edge of Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park with mountain views all around. This four star, dog friendly hotel has 106 ensuite rooms, with pet-friendly rooms alongside fur-free options for guests travelling without one.
Of the rooms, 34 are dog-friendly, mostly on the first floor, and dogs up to 22 kg are welcome. A dog may stay by itself in the room for up to 45 minutes. Rooms come with woodland or valley views, a 55-inch TV and black-out blinds for a restful sleep. On numbers, the hotel doesn't say how many can share a dog-friendly room; raise it on the phone to reservations.
You can dine with your dog in the bar area, though pets aren't allowed in the restaurant. Zephyr's serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks with indoor and outdoor seating, and its menus are packed with local ingredients fresh from the rivers, coast and farms, with vegetarian and vegan options and other dietary requirements catered for on request.
Wave Garden Spa, for guests aged 18 and over, has indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy pools with mountain views, a Himalayan sauna with pink rock salt walls, an outdoor Tyrolean barrel sauna and a steam room, and Adventure Parc is next door. Out with your dog, Llyn Crafnant Circular is 3.7 miles away and Llyn Geirionydd Circular 3.8 miles, both walks on Wildpack.
