1 / 8The Fish Hotel
Broadway, Worcestershire
Yes. Dogs can stay in selected rooms, up to 2 dogs per room.
The Fish sits on the 500 acre Farncombe estate above Broadway, with agility equipment in a fenced off field and a Dunk your Dog bath for muddy dogs.
High on the hillside at Farncombe, a 500 acre private estate of forest and field above the village of Broadway, The Fish is a collection of rooms, huts and Treehouses with the Cotswold countryside on its doorstep. This dog friendly hotel gives dogs a playground of their very own, a short walk from the lodge.
That pooch playground has wooden agility equipment inside a fenced off field, made for dogs who need a run around. Inside, a number of dog friendly rooms have wooden floors and easy access to your car, and one Treehouse also takes dogs. The hotel notes that its Terrace Rooms aren't dog friendly. The hotel welcomes one medium-sized or two small well-behaved dogs, aged one year or over, and asks you to say when you reserve that they're coming. A cosy dog bed, two bowls, treats and a dog towel will be waiting.
The bar and lounge are where you can settle in with your dog and eat from the bar menu of pizzas, salads, snacks, sides and desserts, served every day. The hotel asks that dogs aren't taken into the restaurant, Hook, which serves a seafood-inspired dinner every night and Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Your dog gets a menu too: the Dog's Dinner, which includes fish and chips and is booked in advance with the reservations team.
The estate is the main event for walking. There's a nature trail to hike, a boot room with a selection of local walking maps for the recommended walks nearby, and a Dunk your Dog bath to clean off muddy paws afterwards. On Wildpack's map, Broadway Tower Circular Walk is 0.3 miles from the hotel and Stanton to Snowshill Circular 3.3 miles.
