The Swan Inn is a 17th century Grade II listed pub and inn in the ex-mining village of Rowberrow, on the edge of the Mendip Hills. This is a dog friendly inn that makes a base for walking: the pub keeps its own favourite dog walks, and they start and finish at The Swan, so a pint and a meal are waiting when you and your dog get back.

Four of the nine rooms take dogs, in the converted barns, and the stable rooms have underfloor heating and a private terrace to the front. Tell the inn about the dog at the time of booking. Water bowls, treats and towels are kept by the door, there are comfortable resting areas where dogs can relax after a day out, and dogs mustn't be left unattended in the room.

Dogs can come along to the bar, the garden and select dining areas.
