Charlotte Cottage is a beautifully presented Georgian house on a quiet street in a peaceful pocket of Keswick, only a short walk from the town's shops, cafes and museums. It has been tastefully modernised, with soft pastel tones, oak flooring and original sash windows and shutters, and this dog friendly home has a warm welcome for two dogs.
Meals happen in the sunny kitchen, with an electric Aga and gas hobs and a round table that seats four, and it opens straight onto the patio garden for an al fresco feel. After long walks on the fells, the wood burner is lit in the lounge and the dogs settle down while the TV goes on, and younger guests have a selection of toys, games and books to choose from.
