Beautiful views over open fields surround Church Farm Escape, a detached Victorian farmhouse a couple of miles from the beach at Anderby Creek. There are bags of space inside and out for seven guests and two dogs, and it makes a generous, dog friendly family base at the heart of Lincolnshire's Coastal Country Park.

Cooking and celebrating happen in a spacious kitchen and diner, one open room, with a pantry beside it, a utility room with a second sink, and a downstairs WC through the utility. In the lounge there is seating for all seven, a Smart TV for film nights, plus the wood burner to light, while the Garden Room, with two large and cosy settees and patio doors to the outside, catches the afternoon and evening sun. The dogs will soon find the sunny spot by those doors. Upstairs are four bedrooms with carefully chosen fabrics, and two bathrooms offer a shower or a bath.

Outside, a generous south facing patio sheltered by a garden wall runs on to a covered BBQ area with a coal fired BBQ and plenty of furniture. Around the farmhouse the lawns are wide and spacious, edged with low hedging, with room for outdoor games and long family lunches, and supper from the covered BBQ with the dogs close by on the patio rounds off the day.

The Coastal Country Park takes in ancient meadows, nature reserves and sandy beaches between Sandilands and Chapel St Leonards, and the North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point has a cafe, a gallery and views across the beach. The flat country and its bridleways suit cycling, and the dogs will be happy on the beach walks.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Church Farm Escape - Anderby dog friendly?

Yes, Church Farm Escape welcomes up to two dogs. The house has a large enclosed lawn for them to use, a utility room to deal with muddy paws and sandy coats after a beach trip, and a wood burner in the lounge for drying out at the end of the day.

  • Are dogs allowed at Church Farm Escape - Anderby year round?

The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions on dogs, so it's worth contacting the property directly to confirm availability for your dates. The location itself lends itself well to year-round visits — the nearby Anderby Creek beach is a quiet stretch of sand, and the inland field paths and drains offer good walking whatever the season.

  • What should I know before visiting Church Farm Escape - Anderby with my dog?

The garden boundary is a low hedge, so it's best suited to dogs that are reliably contained rather than those likely to test a fence. The nearest beach access is at Anderby Creek, a short distance away, and there are also inland field paths and drains to explore if you want to mix up your walking beyond the dunes.
