Out in the attractive enclosed garden you will find the wood fired hot tub, patio dining and a fire pit, with the North Shropshire countryside all around.
A gently sloping path brings you to the door and a welcoming double height hall. The barn is full of interesting features, with exposed beams, stone floors and underfloor heating upstairs and down, and a utility boot room on the ground floor takes the coats and muddy paws after a walk with the dogs. On the left, the light and airy kitchen diner has granite work surfaces, and folding doors from it give onto the patio garden and the hot tub.
Double height ceilings and dual aspect windows give the lounge its sense of space, and its wood burner, logs provided, draws the dogs in the moment it is lit. A shower room and a lovely double with an additional single bed complete the ground floor. Two staircases lead up, one past a library landing to the super king size with a Juliet balcony and an en suite bathroom, the other to a king size with a round window and an en suite shower.
Whitchurch is 4 miles away, and Whixall Moss and the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union canal are 3 miles from the barn, both good country for walking a dog. Offa's Dyke and Ellesmere with its lake, The Mere, are in reach, as are medieval Shrewsbury, Hawkstone Park Follies and Hodnet Hall Gardens.
