Greenways is a spacious single storey house on a quiet country lane in Egerton, a quintessential Kent village with local pubs and a pub restaurant. Arrival is into a large, welcoming hallway with a multi games table for table tennis and foosball. The spacious lounge beyond has a large L shaped settee, an armchair and a Smart TV, and double doors lead into the large conservatory, warmed by underfloor heating, where everyone gathers round the big dining table in the evening while the dogs doze at their feet. Morning coffee is taken at the table in the well equipped kitchen. A corridor leads to the four bedrooms, three doubles and a twin, and every bedroom has a Smart TV plus an en suite warmed by underfloor heating, complete with bath and power shower.
Outside, the large enclosed garden has patio and grass areas, a charcoal BBQ and a children's swing, with the paddock attached for running and playing. The patio holds the hot tub and patio furniture, a lovely spot to unwind after a long walk, the dogs flat out beside you.
Numerous footpaths cross the Kent countryside from here, through fields, orchards and farmland to neighbouring villages, wonderful walking with a dog. Headcorn has a good range of shops, the market town of Tenterden has independent shops, cafes and a steam railway, and Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens and Godinton House are all a short drive away.
