It is the barn of the four with the least to climb. There is one step at the front door and then everything is on one level: an open plan room with the kitchen at one end, a bedroom with two singles that zip together into a super king, and a shower room with a walk-in shower, where a seat can be provided. For a couple with an older dog, or an older couple with a young one, it is the easiest of the farm's buildings to live in.
The enclosed garden with its table and chairs belongs to Honeysuckle, and it is where the day begins, two dogs let out before the kettle has boiled. Beyond it is a larger enclosed garden with picnic tables and a view of the sea, shared by all four barns, which gives a sociable dog a longer run. The owners leave doggy extras in the barn, and milk, tea and coffee in the kitchen.
Past Tregardock the coast carries on north to Trebarwith Strand, 1.2 miles off, a wide stretch of sand under the cliffs at low water, and to Tintagel beyond it. The fields round Treligga carry sheep, which is worth remembering with a dog on the way down to the path.
