Four dogs are welcome at Wild Moor Cottage, a spacious dog friendly barn conversion on a smallholding at Ratlinghope, with ten acres of grazing land around it and the Shropshire Hills rising behind. Walkers have access straight onto the Long Mynd and the Shropshire Way, so the dogs can be up on the hill without anybody starting the car.

The enclosed gardens surround the property, and there is a dog paddock available too. A dog welcome pack waits with a bowl, a towel and treats, alongside a welcome pack of tea, coffee, eggs, milk and cake for everybody else. Patio doors lead out to garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ on the patio, a natural extension of the lounge, with far reaching views and the dogs nosing about the garden around it.

The heart of the house is one big open plan room, the lounge end gathered round a wood burner in a magnificent inglenook fireplace.
