Wishing Well Lodge is an attractive boutique conversion in the hamlet of Camerton, a beautiful, dog friendly single storey house that welcomes two dogs alongside its four guests. Its spacious garden wraps right round the house, enclosed and protected by well established trees, and there is a bubbling private hot tub waiting in it.
Every room is on the ground floor. You walk straight into a beautifully designed space where lounge, kitchen and dining all share one room, with an island for pre dinner drinks or a game of cards, sinkable sofas round the Smart TV, and double doors out to the garden, which is the way both dogs will head first.
Off the living space are two en suite bedrooms, each with a plush king size bed for a mellow morning lie in. At the front, a large garden space and a patio hold the hot tub and outdoor furniture for drinks under the stars, the dogs settled close by, and at the rear there is more seating along with an external utility room, with the washing machine, that is ideal for storing bikes.
Hedon, 2 miles away, has a good selection of individual shops, tea rooms and restaurants, and the open countryside around Camerton has plenty of tracks and trails for walking with the dogs. For a day by the sea, the popular coastal towns of Withernsea and Hornsea are easily reached, and the famous sea life centre, The Deep, is 8 miles away in Hull.
