Behind the classic, romantic facade the rooms are spacious but cosy. The sitting room is warm and inviting, with exposed beams and an open log fire, and the sweet country kitchen has everything a family needs, and dinner can be taken outside overlooking the water. The dogs have their own spot in the utility room, where the owner asks that they sleep, since dogs keep to the ground floor here.
Both bathrooms are on the ground floor too. Upstairs, each of the three bedrooms, the double, the twin and the single with its pull out bed, has lovely views of the landscape, and the owner calls the upstairs a cosy hideaway. From the grounds the dogs step straight onto a sweet little sandy beach on the Firth of Clyde. Keen walkers can take on Glen Sannox, which begins close by, the Corrie Golf Club and a café are within walking distance, and a castle, gardens and a tea shop lie within 7 miles.
