Glenariff Forest Park Upper Waterfall Trail

County Antrim

Dog Friendly Rating:8/10A dog friendly waterfall trail through a lush Antrim glen with cascades, boardwalks, and easy forest tracks.

Glenariff Forest Park sits in the heart of the Antrim Glens and the Upper Waterfall Trail threads past a string of cascades on timber walkways and stone steps. It is a dog friendly loop that suits most owners, with a shaded canopy, river soundtrack, and picnic spots along the way.

Dogs are welcome on a lead throughout the trail. Expect around 3 kilometres of mixed boardwalk, steps and gravel path with a steady climb back up the glen. Paws stay comfortable on the soft surfaces but steps can be slick after rain. Parking, toilets and a seasonal cafe are at the main visitor car park, and waste bins are provided near the entrance.
