Book now

Eistedd Aros is a spacious, detached dog friendly bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac in Templeton, between Narberth and the Pembrokeshire coast. It sleeps five, welcomes two dogs, and has a tiered back garden that is fully enclosed and laid to lawn.

A bright hallway leads into the lounge, where French doors make the room light and airy and open onto the patio, so the garden is right there whenever the dogs ask for it. Generous, comfortable seating for everyone faces a Smart TV for evenings in, and the contemporary kitchen and diner is where the whole family can cook and eat together, with a side door to the garden as well.

A king-size bed fills the master bedroom, whose en-suite offers a walk-in shower. A double fills the second bedroom, and the single third bedroom has a Smart TV and a desk for anyone working away, while the family bathroom completes the house. Out on the patio, seating and a charcoal BBQ are ready for supper, and while it cooks the dogs can work the lawn from one tier to the next.

Amroth is 5 miles away, a golden sand beach backed by pebbles, and Saundersfoot is 6 miles, with Tenby and its four beaches a little further along the coast. The boutiques and cafes of Narberth are close, and Folly Farm and the Blue Lagoon Water Park are a short drive for family days, with plenty of coast for the dogs in between.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Eistedd Aros dog friendly?

Yes — Eistedd Aros welcomes up to two dogs. The bungalow has a fully enclosed lawned garden with two separate doors leading out to it, hard floors where it matters, and everything on a single level, so it's set up to make life genuinely easy for dogs and their owners.

  • Are dogs allowed at Eistedd Aros year round?

The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions on dogs, so it appears they're welcome throughout the year. It's always worth confirming directly with the property when you book, particularly if you're travelling outside the main summer season.

  • What should I know before visiting Eistedd Aros with my dog?

The two-dog limit is the main thing to be aware of before booking. Once you're there, the enclosed garden and two separate exits make managing muddy dogs much more practical than a typical holiday let — there's no need to carry them through the lounge after a wet walk. The surrounding area is well suited to dogs too, with quiet inland trails along the Daugleddau estuary around 8 miles away and beaches reachable in about 5 miles.
