Set high on a 60 acre farm at Sheinton, Fallow Lodge is a contemporary dog friendly lodge for eight people and one dog, commanding far reaching, glorious countryside views. A private footpath leads across the paddock to a brook, so the dog's first outing of the morning comes with goats and birds along the way.
The pretty, private garden is enclosed, with a hot tub, a paved patio for dining outdoors around the charcoal BBQ, and a fire pit to extend the evening. After a full day out, everyone drifts back to it, the dog curled by the fire pit while the views do the rest. Indoors, the stylish rooms have every creature comfort, and the open plan living space has room for everyone around one large dining table.
After supper there is a Smart TV, with magazines, books and local guides dotted about, and the dog spread out on the floor nearby. For something livelier, there is table tennis and table football over in the shared games room.
