Old Mart Manor brings sixteen people and up to five dogs together in a large, contemporary farmhouse, completely renovated in 2022 and set on a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Narberth. It is dog friendly holiday accommodation on a generous scale, with seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a fully enclosed, lawned garden.

An inviting hallway opens on the left into the open-plan kitchen/diner. Its dining table seats all sixteen, so the whole party eats together. The kitchen is equipped for a group supper or a quick breakfast, and next door the sunroom overlooks the garden, so whoever is relaxing there can keep an eye on the children and the dogs out on the lawn. The lounge has ample seating, garden views and a Smart TV for movie nights together.

Downstairs there is a family room with bunks and two singles, using a Jack and Jill bathroom, and across the hallway an en-suite double with a double shower. The other five are on the first floor, every one with its own en-suite, storage and a Smart TV. Outside, the garden has seating and a plinth for disposable BBQs, and on a long evening five dogs can roam the lawn while everybody else sits out.

Narberth's eclectic mix of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is all around the house. For the dogs there is a popular circular walk out to Canaston Woods, 3.5 miles away, and on to Blackpool Mill before it brings you back into town. Amroth, 6.5 miles off, makes a seaside day, and Folly Farm is a fun family day out.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Old Mart Manor dog friendly?

Yes, Old Mart Manor welcomes up to five dogs, which is generous for a property of any size, let alone one sleeping sixteen in the centre of a market town. The house has an enclosed lawned garden, and you can walk straight out of the front door into quiet streets — no car journey needed before the dogs get their morning run.

  • Are dogs allowed at Old Mart Manor year round?

The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions on dogs, so it's worth contacting the property directly to confirm availability for your dates. Given that it's a large group rental in a town setting rather than a beach or nature reserve, there are no obvious reasons why access would vary by season.

  • What should I know before visiting Old Mart Manor with my dog?

The ground floor layout works well for dogs — the corridor off the family room is a natural place for dog beds, giving them their own space by the evening without taking over the main living areas. The enclosed lawned garden means you don't have to worry about dogs getting loose, and the town of Narberth is compact enough that a full walk through it, past the castle ruin and out into the surrounding farmland, is easily managed on a lead straight from the front door.
