It is a walker's delight, with miles of footpaths from the property, and this dog friendly house sleeps eight in glorious Derbyshire countryside, two dogs included in the welcome.
From the hallway, the kitchen/diner offers gorgeous views from the dining table across the garden and the fields. In the lounge, the wood burner is the cosy heart of chillier evenings, with a good book or the Smart TV, and the dogs will be quick to find the warmth. A utility room opens to the garden, handy for muddy paws. Two super kings are on the ground floor, the first with an en suite, alongside a shower room, and two more super kings share the upstairs with the family bathroom.
The fully enclosed garden has a large patio for dining with the BBQ, more seating around the fire pit, and a hot tub with outstanding views. Kids and dogs will love playing on the lawn, and in the detached games room a reversible pool and air hockey table with a table tennis top gives hours of fun.
Dovedale, with its famous stepping stones and riverside strolls, is within a 6 mile drive, a must with the dogs. Bikes can be hired for the traffic free Tissington Trail, and the pretty market town of Ashbourne, 7 miles away, has Georgian terraces, a 13th century church, a heritage trail, antique shops and plenty of cafes and restaurants.
