Florence Court Forest Park Circular

County Fermanagh

Dog Friendly Rating:8/10A dog friendly National Trust forest estate with waterfalls, woodland paths and views of the Cuilcagh hills.

Florence Court Forest Park is a National Trust estate on the Cuilcagh foothills with a choice of forest and parkland trails looping through the pleasure grounds, around the walled garden, and into the mature mixed woodland above the 18th century mansion. The headline is Ireland's tallest yew and a handful of sociable waymarked routes, all firmly dog friendly on a lead.

Dogs are welcome on a lead throughout the estate with horse and farm stock on the wider acreage meaning leads stay on for all marked routes. Tracks are mostly compacted gravel forest road with some grass parkland and short wooded paths, easy underfoot in most conditions. Parking, toilets, cafe and shop are at the main visitor hub and the Trust welcome pack mentions water bowls at the courtyard.
