Lough Navar Forest Viewpoint Walk
County Fermanagh
Lough Navar Forest Drive wends 11 kilometres through conifer plantation, moorland and broadleaf along the Cliffs of Magho above Lower Lough Erne. The Viewpoint Walk is the short foot trail from the Magho car park out to the cliff edge, a dog friendly loop with one of the biggest views in Fermanagh.
Dogs are welcome on a lead, with the cliff edge the main safety concern and scattered sheep on the moorland above the forest fence. Expect a mix of gravel forest track and grass cliff path, flat for most of the route. The drive itself is pay per car with honesty box operation, and there are multiple picnic benches, viewpoints and side walks such as the Blackslee Waterfall trail. No toilets or cafe on site, so stock up in Derrygonnelly before you drive up.
