Clashnessie Beach
Highlands
Clashnessie Beach is a small, beautiful sandy cove in Assynt north of Clachtoll, backed by Lewisian gneiss and dunes. The beach is accessed via a short walk and is one of the lesser-known gems of the Sutherland coast. The surrounding landscape of ancient rock, scattered lochans and dramatic peaks is characteristic of the Assynt interior.
No dog restrictions apply. Year-round access.
