Westport Beach is a wide, sandy beach on the west coast of Kintyre north of Machrihanish, forming the northern end of the enormous bay system that includes Machrihanish. The beach is backed by dunes and is generally much quieter than Machrihanish. The views west across the Atlantic are vast, and on very clear days Ireland may be visible.
