Glen Finglas Reservoir Walk
Stirling
Glen Finglas Reservoir is a dog friendly walk set in the heart of the Trossachs, following a well-maintained track through ancient woodland managed by the Woodland Trust. The route heads north from the Glen Finglas car park at Brig o' Turk, climbing gently along the east bank of the glen before reaching the impressive reservoir nestled among rolling hills.
Dogs can enjoy plenty of off-lead time on the wide tracks, though leads are advisable near cattle that sometimes graze along the lower sections. The terrain is mostly firm track with some rougher ground near the reservoir. Facilities at the start include a visitor centre with toilets and wifi. Parking is available at the large Glen Finglas car park just off the A821, which has ample space even on busy weekends.
