Sangobeg Beach

Sangobeg Beach is a small sandy beach near Durness on the north Sutherland coast, one of several beautiful coves in the vicinity. The limestone geology creates vivid blue-green water colour. Durness is the most north-westerly village on the Scottish mainland and was John Lennon's holiday destination as a child.
